DAY 01: DENPASAR – MAUMERE
Depart to Maumere – Flores by air. Upon arrival at Waioti Airport of Maumere, our local guide will meet you then drive 15 minutes to Waiara Beach 12 Km to Eastern Maumere town and check-in at FLORES SAO RESORT for meals and accommodation. (L,D)
DAY 02: DIVING IN PULAU BABI
Breakfast at hotel. Depart to Pulau Babi by boat for 1,5 hours cruising. Full day diving in this beautiful island, first diving explore deep and colorful wall and coral garden, plenty of lobster, fishes, pelagic, etc. Second dive further distance to Tanjung Darat for exploring the beautiful and myriad reef fiches. Afternoon back to Waiara and accommodation at FLORES SAO RESORT.(B,L,D).
DAY 03: DIVING IN PULAU BESAR
Breakfast at hotel. Depart to Pulau Besar by boat for 1,5 hours cruising. Full day diving in this island where the particular interest are rivers discharge, such as on the south-west point where corals are different and consequently support other forms of marine life. The vast area on the east needs exploring as the shallow water channels have potential for juvenile fish, thus specially of scientific interest. Afternoon back to Waiara and accommodation at FLORES SAO RESORT.(B,L,D).
DAY 04: MAUMERE – DENPASAR
Breakfast at hotel. Transfer to the Airport to depart to Denpasar – Bali or to your next destination.(B)
On arrival at Airport of Labuan Bajo, our guide will meet you then transfer to your hotel for accommodation. Afternoon half-day tour in down town of Labuan Bajo. (L,D)
Breakfast at hotel. Explore traditional village of Bajawa tribes. Visit Bena – a megalithic village where people do preserve their ancestral spirits believed and way of life, which can be seen in their “Ngadhu” and “Bhaga”. That are conical thatched roof huts symbolized their Male and Female ancestral spirits. On the way stop on the slope of Inerie active volcano for taking pictures. Return to Bajawa for Lunch at Local Restaurant. Afternoon drive to the North to Mengeruda – a natural hot spring water for relaxing and taking bath. Return to hotel. (B,L,D)
After an early morning breakfast at 5.30 drive up to Kelimutu volcano to see the three colored lakes. Upon arrival walk for 1,5 km and then ascend 127 steps to top to view Kelimutu’s green, blue and black lakes. A Dutch Geologist discovered Kelimutu in 1914; at the time the lakes were red, blue and white. Descend to Moni village to visit Kowanara village famous for its traditional Lionese houses, stone seats and traditional sacred cemetery. If the road permits, a visit also will be made to Jopu and Nggela traditional village. Lunch will be served at a local restaurant in Wolowaru. Proceed to Maumere with several stops made according to local happenings. Accommodation and meals at FLORES SAO RESORT. (B,L,D)
On arrival at Waioti Airport of Maumere at 14.30 direct drive 12 Km to eastern Maumere town (15 minutes drive) then check-in at FLORES SAO RESORT for meals and accommodation.(D)
After breakfast take a boat trip to explore the spectacular sea garden of seventeen islands. The reef of “Seventeen Islands” is very spectacular – with a variety of hard and soft corals and lots of colorful fish. There are 17 islands in total, with plenty of idyllic white sand beaches for swimming and a multitude of coral species and sea creatures to discover. Return to the lodge for having lunch. Then drive to Bajawa with stop at Soa – a natural hot spring water for taking bathing. Accommodation and dinner at hotel. (B,L,D)
On arrival at “Waioti” Airport of Maumere – Flores, our guide will meet you and transfer to FLORES SAO RESORT for accommodation and meals. (D)
Breakfast at hotel. Drive to Moni for 4 hours with several stops at Ledalero – a major Catholic Seminary – to visit the museum with its various collection of local royal families’ old portraits, antique hand woven clothes, stagedeon fossils, etc. Proceed to Sikka village – a center of “Ikat” weaving to see the traditional weaving process and to observe an old church built in the 16th Century. On to Wolowaru for having lunch. If weather permits, direct drive up to Kelimutu to see the Three Color Lakes. Dinner at hotel. (B,L,D)
Breakfast at hotel. Cruise to Pulau Besar by wooden boat. Upon arrival, you are free to swim, snorkel or walk along the beach. Lunch will be served on board. Visit several fishing villages. Return to hotel. (B,L,D)
